Sidney Poitier (ninety-four): The trailblazing actor, Sidney Poitier, made records in 1963 as the first character of color to win an Oscar for Best Actor in the movie “Lilies of the Field.” His legacy extends beyond the silver screen, as he received the Presidential Medal of Freedom from former U.S. President Barack Obama in 2009.

Meat Loaf (seventy-four): The American singer, born Michael Lee Aday, rocked the music world internationally with his iconic album “Bat Out of Hell” (1977), presenting hits like “Paradise By The Dashboard Light” and “You Took the Words Right Out of My Mouth.”.

Wim Jansen (seventy-five): As a footballer, Wim Jansen carried out glory with Feyenoord, triumphing in the European Cup 1 and the Club World Cup in 1970. He represented the Netherlands in 65 international matches and played in the World Cup finals of 1974 and 1978.

Max Moszkowicz Sr. (95): A famed lawyer, Max Moszkowicz Sr., defended excessive-profile customers, which includes the Heineken kidnappers Cor van Hout and Willem Holleeder. He survived the German awareness camps at some stage in World War II but tragically misplaced his parents, brother, and sister.

William Hurt (71): The acclaimed actor won an Oscar for his role in “Kiss of the Spider Woman” (1985) and obtained nominations for his performances in “Broadcast News” (1987), “Children of a Lesser God” (1986), and “A History of Violence” (2005).

Piet Paulusma (sixty-five): The liked weatherman, known for his signature signal-off “oant moarn” (“till the next day”), furnished weather updates for 23 years on Piets Weer at SBS and later at Omroep MAX in view of 20201.

Madeleine Albright (84): Born in former Czechoslovakia, Madeleine Albright became the first lady U.S. Secretary of State (1997–2001) under President Bill Clinton. She fled her hometown at some point in World War II, leaving behind an enduring impact on worldwide diplomacy.

Mimi Reinhardt (107): Mimi Reinhardt compiled lists of Jewish workers in Oskar Schindler’s factory, making sure of their exemption from deportation throughout the Holocaust. Her brave moves were immortalized in the film “Schindler’s List.”
