A Photoshop blunder saw the Prince of Wales in touble during their campaign aimed at spreading joy during Christmas times.

Over the weekend, Prince William and Ate Middleton used their joint Instagram account to share the family’s 2023 Christmas card, featuring their three children: Prince George (age 10), Prince Charlotte (age 8), and Prince Louis (age 5).

More than twenty thousand comments have been posted on that post, and very keen fans have noticed some mistakes present in the said picture.

The third user commented, “its all Photoshop. Prince Louis is missing a finger; very bad editing.”

one user noted, “Prince Louis’s finger is missing; they also used photoshop to paste someone else’s leg there; i surely hope the government did not reimburse them. ”

This fifth user remarked, “Are Prince William’s children real or fake? I also noticed that Louis doesn’t have a finger; he looks weird.”

Others gave valid excuses, saying that Louis showed his hand, such as the middle finger, which seemed to be missing.

The other royal traditions may be traced to the German roots of the family. For example, Prince Harry stated in his book, Spare, that such a ritual takes place in their house every year, during which they exchange Christmas presents. The trestle table is used by members of the royal family who leave their gifts at that time during meals, according to the official website.

After being popularised by Queen Victoria’s King Charles great-great-great’ grandmother in the 19th century, Christmas trees also became a tradition in royal households. The royal family used to donate trees for churches and schools in Sandringham and others, such as St. Paul’s Cathedral in London and St. Giles’ Cathedral, among others.

Most royal family members will normally post Christmas wish cards to family, friends, and members of their families (although a few governmental officers may be lucky enough to have one). The tallies have yet to be updated lately, although during Queen Elizabeth’s reign, they sent approximately 750 Christmas cards every year.
